Feedback

Week 9: For the gate have a look-out area or an output, add sculptures on the rocks, and show a bit of the town on the back. Make it small. Make the gate more majestic, look at the assassin creed for inspiration. For #2 exaggerate the dome and add details to the castle pillars. You can use photo bash.

Week 10: The setup is fine it has story, it's just missing the cultural motifs. Make it similar to your cultural proposal. The gate can be further evolved in terms of narrative by applying architectural design. The statue is different from your selected culture. You can add characters to show the scale of the composition. The statues can maybe be the kings.

Week 12: Look at the ancient castles for details and patterns or even ancient drawings to see what people did back then. Don't cut off the statue add it inside the frame. Add assets such as bowls, plates, sheesha, peacock feathers, and candles, there is so much you can do. Sketch it out before you go to Zbrush.

Reflection

I had more fun creating interior design than I did with the exterior because we could use Zbrush. I had to get rid of the initial design I had for the interior because I had a very hard time developing its purpose. So I started with a new interior design; I decided to go with a grand hall or a Darbar where people gather to rest and hang out. This concept appealed to me since it reflected people's actions in the 1600s. From there, I could experiment with which assets I could include and which textures I could photo bash. I was much happier with this project's end result than I was with my exterior. The only worry I have is the final color of my interior design. Because my screen monitor shows different colors than what is seen on my laptop, I am worried the colors are duller than what I intended.
