Research Implementation

 Week 10:

Wednesday, June 2, 2021
This week we started on our research methodology and had to show Dr. Hayati the types of research methods we picked. I picked visual analysis for my qualitative method and google form survey for my quantitative method.

 Week 11:

Wednesday, June 9, 2021
This week continued to gather data from our surveys and  I worked on finishing my visual analysis. Dr. Hayati suggested I find people as a focus group to be able to compare my visual analysis with. So I came with questions to ask them.

 Week 12:

Wednesday, June 16, 2021
This week was submission week so I completed all the visual analysis, made the comparison of participants' answers to the focus group, and compiled them all into a presentation slide. We also had to analyze all of our data, Dr. Hayati suggested we be as objective as possible.

Feedback

[Week 10]:

  • Qualitative research: Some questions may sound a bit biased so try and rephrase them.

  • Qualitative research: Have 5 options for all questions

  • Do a pilot test to see how long the questionnaire takes.

[Week 11]:

  • You have to analyze your data to see whether it agrees or disagrees with your hypothesis.

  • If it disagrees explain why; it could be due to the fact that your secondary data was done a long time ago.

[Week 12]:

  • In your presentation explain why you have decided to analyze these variables.

  • Do a reflection if you have enough variables to be able o do a good and critical analysis.

  • Change the name of the focus group as it’s no longer a focus group, instead it expert evaluation or individual evaluation that you can use to support your analysis.

  • Read up on the Delphi method as you have found an excerpt for your analysis.

  • Try to be objective with your data analysis.
