Feedback
[Week 2]:
- The tires and a bit off so try adding a floor and recheck the modeling line.
[Week 3]:
- You can try to add the animals you just try to make them cohesive with the vehicle. Maybe add clothes or costumes.
- See the functionality for all three vehicles, who would use it.
[Week 4]:
- Look at mortal engine designs for references.
- The land vehicle looks very rigid, add the purpose, theme, and function.
- Look at steampunk references.
[Week 5]:
- Try to combine numbers 1,3,4, and 7 for the air vehicle.
- Rember to consider the scale for the people.
- For the land, vehicles combine numbers 2 and 3.
- For the water vehicle the numbers 3,4, and 5. They look interesting.
[Week 6]:
- For air vehicles maybe try out a kite design, I like numbers 2 and 4 and make it more interesting.
- Add an overlay of the gradient.
- For the land vehicle, try adding 3 yaks instead of one, I like the canopy design better than the round design.
- put a floor on the drawing.
- go with the first one for water design.
Reflection
I've always struggled with drawing vehicles and objects, so I was nervous about starting this module. Still, the process Mr. Kannan demonstrated for drawing the vehicles made it much easier for me to draw the various angles.
One mistake I made was failing to double-check the exercise submission requirements. Normally, I would refer to the MIB, but for this module, we also need to check Microsoft Teams if there is a change. It took me some time to complete everything on the list, but I could finish on time. One of the most important take away from these exercises is the deconstruction and construction of the object. I used the same method for my anatomy and character design modules, and it helped me draw perspective much more easily.
